On Nov.9th we went to one of the oldest forts in the USA called Castillo de San Marcos. It was so cool. We got a booklet to fill out about all the history of how the Spanish came and survived in the area. They built this fort to survive attacks from the British navy and from pirate ships. What the Spanish built in the 1600's is still here today. The fort was built from coquina, a really cool material made out of rocks, shells and plaster, that cannon balls couldn't wreck. The fort was attacked many times but was never taken down.

Here's us getting our booklets. We had lots of work to do in it and even had to write an essay. I'm glad I'm writing an essay here instead of at school.
Every day at 1:30 they do a cannon shooting ceremony. They are really old but they still work as well. It was very, very loud. My favourite part was that they shot bread out of the cannon and all of the birds came flying to eat the bread.

This is me standing in front of the oldest school in the USA. The chain that you can see is attached to an anchor so that the school won't blow away in a hurricane. Amazingly it works because it has been here for more than 300 years without going anywhere.
We stopped to drive on the beach just outside of St Augustine. Mommy and daddy didn't want me to get wet so I was just getting my feet wet while I was playing. I didn't see a giant wave coming but by mistake I got flipped over onto my head.

This is us out for dinner with my Aunt Mary. We are visiting her for a day and went out for pizza to Napoli Pizza.
This is us on a plane to Florida. I am so excited. Our flight was 7 hours because we stopped in Washington. I was sad that couldn't see the White House the day before the election. The plane ride was fun but jiggly.
It was a long plane ride so I brought lots of stuff out of my bag. First I did math and then I wrote stuff in my journal. Then I watched Madagascar on my daddy's computer. On the first flight Molly had the window seat....and I had it on the second flight.
We landed in Orlando and this is us in the little subway train in the airport.
The first amusement park we went to was Sea World. This is us at the Shamu Show. Shamu is an Orca and he is very, very cute. He is so big. He came swimming so fast at us and then splashed us. He did lots of tricks. It was very cool! I wonder how they train the whales to do all of those tricks?

....until I went on the Manta. This is a video of the Manta...not me, I haven't turned into a bald man. After the ride I won a Manta Ray doll and named him Randy.

I,m a big fan of scardy squirrel and my feild trip irreland I was very happy.I hav all of the books.scaredy squirrel, in the dark,as a party,at the beach,makes a friend
When I got there I saw her it was so cool she sinded all of my books.All of my friends wanted picture
She handed out book marks and litte things about the nest scardey squirrel pepares for christmas.
I had a great time I was so happy that I got to go and I bet alot of kids would like to see her
Today I went to Crescent Beach with the Warringtons for a cross country meet .When we got there it was our tern first.We were racing the boy and girls there were was about 60 kids thire. At the end delia came in first and I came in 5th place everybody got a bib with a number my number was 666 the coach said 666 was a devil number.
After the race, I brought some extra money and I was allowed to get some CANDY. I had a lot of fun. Sophia and Lucie came in 19th and 10th.
Everybody had a great time.
On the way back, we went to McDonalds and got a smoothie. My smoothie was great. I didn't have much breakfast before we left (just a pancake and a half). I was glad because someone else was complaining during the race that their tummy hurt.
On Monday before school started, we went to the PNE. We walked until we got to the motorcycle and ATV show. It was amazing. Next we went to the Peking acrobats and it could not have been more cool. After we played on the stage and pretended to be acrobats.
Molly and I love posing for these crazy pictures......but I almost chickened out this time.
Daddy tried to win us a prize by shooting baskets but did not win a prize....it was cool to see him shoot.

On the first day of school we went especially early to talk to all of our friends. The whole family biked down together on a beautiful sunny day. I was hoping to get Ms Cotter for my teacher...and I did! Lots of my friends are also in my class. Molly got Ms. Donaldson again and Lukey got Ms. Hill.
My friend Delia recommended the Thunderbirds cross country team so I decided to try it. I really like it an am excited to go each day. This is us on the pole vault mat, playing after our run was over. I am excited to compete in a meet. So far all of the cross country practices have had beautiful weather just like this picture and I hope there is more to come.
We had to go late to the Arbutus Club parking lot party because of cross country practice. When we got there we had a lot fun but most of the food was already gone. There was a couple of little games like the climbing wall in the background and this ball I went inside. It was really fun and I was glad I came even though there were long line ups.
On Monday we drove from Point Roberts to Leavenworth, which is like mini Gremany. Somebody decided they admired Germany so much they decided to make their town just like a mini German village. I loved it there but we didn't stop long because we took our dinghy down the Wenatchee river instead. It was really fun but really squishy because we had 4 people (daddy, Molly, Lukey and me) in a 4 foot dinghy. We stopped and met Mommy and went for a nice swim. Then Lukey had a meltdown and told us he wanted to live with another family.
We drove to Wenatchee, had dinner and epic Milkshakes from Sonic (Oreo ice cream and banana M+ Ms both with whipped cream) before sleeping in the van. We also went to Walmart and Target and got some new clothes and basketball shoes.
On Tuesday we drove to lake Chelan and Molly and I did multiplication competitions on the way. And I won by a tiny bit .I want to get really good
at math and typing for grade 3 . Then we drove for a bit longer. We stopped at lake Chelan and had a great time and went to Apple Cup for dinner and had a yummy dinner and went to a camp ground and went to bed.
